I decided to study in U.S. because I needed to learn English. I needed to improve my U.S. accent. Today is very important to speak English. Many companies use English to make new contracts and expand their business. That’s why I want to learn it.
When I was looking for a city to study English, my agency indicated Washington DC for me. I was interested by Washington. I always wanted to visit DC. I wanted to see the White House, the Capitol, Lincoln Monument, and other famous places.
I used to watch hockey games on TV in my country and I wanted to watch hockey in an Arena. Also, I wanted to see a NBA games and a football games in United States. After I came here I could watch some games in DC. It was amazing. Now I am used to watching these games on American TV. I always can.
Also, I came here to meet new people, to know new cultures, to see different places, and it is being a great experience for me. I'm trying to enjoy everything I can. Before coming here I used to have a bad impression of USA. Now after to living these experiences here. I'm used to having a good impression of this beautiful country.
